Insurance Plans and Payment Methods

Select Women’s Healthcare strives to meet your budget needs while providing you with dependable care. We are very aware of today’s health care costs and make every effort to keep our fees fair and reasonable. Our office offers customized payment plans tailored to your budget, insurance, and deductible.

If we participate with your insurance company, we will file a claim to them for the services that we provide to you. You are responsible for any co-payment, deductible, and/or any coinsurance at the time of your visit. Please let us know when you come in if you are not submitting to your insurance–this is especially important on days you may need lab work done.

If we do not participate with your insurance company, we expect payment up front, or arrangements to be made, before our services are provided. Our experience is that this method works best for both parties.

Since every employer and their insurance coverage is different, we cannot guarantee what services are covered or not. However, we will call to verify your benefits before you come in. If you are a new patient, we will ask for your insurance information before you come in.

Please remember that insurance is considered a method of reimbursing the patient for fees paid to the Provider. It is not a substitute for payment. It is understood that your insurance is filed as a courtesy, and it is a contract between you, your employer, and the insurance company. We are not privé to that contract. The patient/guarantor is responsible for the entire balance in the event that the insurance company denies payment for any reason. You will be responsible for all co-pays and co-insurance amounts. Please remember that insurance is not a guarantee of payment. All claims filed are subject to review.

It is the office policy to not schedule a patient until your insurance confirms that you have full pregnancy coverage. We are unable to schedule you before that is confirmed as we are unable to guarantee the payment for services retroactively, regardless of what your insurance may say. The office will confirm your coverage for you.

We are willing to work with out of network insurance companies. If you are interested in setting this up, please call the office. We will contact your insurance to see what we can offer you.

Patients Without Insurance

We accept patients who do not have insurance. If you are pregnant we have a payment plan to meet your financial situation. Please do not let your financial situation cause you to delay prenatal care. Select Women’s Healthcare accepts all major credit cards, personal checks, and cash at the time of your appointment.


Co-pays are to be paid at the time the service is rendered. It is required by your insurance carrier that we collect co-pays since it is calculated in the insurance carrier’s total payment to us.
